Approach and Background
Are you experiencing a challenge that you just can't seem to shake? Whether that challenge is related to mental health or sport performance or a combination of the two, then counseling may be for you. Counseling may seem scary, especially if it is your first time. However, my approach is open and collaborative. We will work together and I will keep you in the loop every step of the way. Counseling is a non-judgemental space for you to explore and develop a plan to take on your challenges. You aim for your goals and I support you. My hope is that we can work together to create a caring space where you feel understood.
I provide therapy to explore the uncomfortable and promote growth. I cannot promise that this will be easy. However, I can promise that you will have a teammate in this process. I provide services for individuals from teens to adults focusing on mental health challenges such as anxiety, stress, depression, anger, and coping with transitions.
As a former athlete, I also specialize in working with athletes to improve their athletic experience. I assist athletes in overcoming mental and emotional barriers that prevent them from playing at their best. I look forward to hearing your unique story and working together to maximize your well-being.
